Fun Celebration at Jollibee Family Bee Day Grand Picnic

Together with fellow bloggers and mommies, I went to be part of the Jollibee Family Bee Day grand picnic with my daughter and 2 nieces last May 10 at the grounds of the Crocodile Park here in Davao.

This happened as thousands of families converged in five different venues across the country and enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon now dubbed as the grandest picnic ever!

We sure had a great time while entertainment personalities Maja Salvador, Slater Young and Imago serenaded and danced for us on that festive and colorful day. I was glad it wasn't that hot, it even rained a little but the fun was all worth it.

It was held simultaneously at the Quirino Grandstand in Metro Manila, Bayanihan Park in Pampanga, Nuvali football grounds in Laguna and Plaza Independencia in Cebu. It featured performances from popular celebrity guests, live bands, side attractions and overflowing Jollibee treats.

Martin Nievera, Klarisse de Guzman and Callalily were the performers who entertained families at the Quirino Grandstand while those at the Nuvali football grounds got star struck with Marian Rivera,  Erik Santos and Moonstar88.

Jollibee Yum endorser Julia Barretto, Shaina Magdayao, Rayver Cruz and 6Cyclemind greeted the audiences at the Bayanihan Park whileGerald Anderson, Julie Ann San Jose and Sponge Cola thrilled families and friends at the Plaza Independencia

Celebrities Carmina Villaroel-Legaspi, Regine Tolentino, and Vince and Patricia Hizon also came with their families to have a picnic.

Local stilt walkers and jugglers paraded around the different venues while dance performances from Jollibee and friends, Jollibee Kids Club members and leading dance crews kept the excitement up throughout the afternoon picnic. While the kids had a grand time playing at the inflatable slide and basketball shootout, families also enjoyed posing by the giant picnic basket and special photo frame wall installations to capture the fun moments. Before the day ended, photos from the event already made the rounds on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter sites with the hashtag #FamilyBeeDay.

  8. Oh I miss Jollibee. Sadly, even with a local Jollibee in NY, it is not an easy trek to take. Maybe... soon.

Glad to see that you had a great time.
